IT work-based learning effort in Grand Forks

Grand Forks Public Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) has launched a work-based learning program in collaboration with local employers to provide career development for area high school students. In January, CTE successfully launched automotive technology opportunities with local employers and will focus on information technology careers in February. CTE staff will help promote job opportunities to students enrolled in information technology courses.

CTE has put together a FAQ’s sheet for employers interested in participating in the program. For more information on the program, contact Keith Reitmeier, workplace learning coordinator for Grand Forks Public Schools.
