TechND will facilitate a ND Computer and Cyber Sciences Education Initiative Panel Oct. 3, during the 2019 CyberCon conference in Bismarck.
The panel will discuss the need and demand for computer science skills, as well as the three-prong approach to bringing computer and cyber science education to K-12 students statewide. North Dakota was the first in the nation to develop K-12 computer and cyber science standards and provided supporting legislation to allow for teacher credentialing. This has set the stage to develop North Dakota’s future workforce by providing every student in every school, from kindergarten until high school graduation, with computer and cyber science education.
CyberCon is a joint cybersecurity and critical infrastructure conference hosted by Bismarck State College and will take place Oct. 2-3 at the BSC National Energy Center of Excellence in Bismarck. View full agenda or register today.
